Type 1 diabetes is a very rare disease, with an annual incidence of 1-2 per 100,000.
Especially when developing type 1 diabetes in childhood, patients and their families are full of anxiety. By meeting fellows and seniors with the same illness, I can feel reassured that I am not alone, and gradually accept and grow up with diabetes.

The Children’s Diabetes Camp is also a place to learn about diabetes and learn what it takes to better control yourself, with the primary goal of becoming independent in the future. It is also a place to make friends through recreational activities, such as hiking and day camps, and discussion opportunities.

It is scheduled to be held several times a year in our hospital.
